Topic: Politics and Religion.

Sub topic: Secret Societies and Subversive movements.

The following verse is a summary of the nature of political societies when they act against religion. They do it in secret societies.

*Dan 3:12 KJV There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.*

This concluding presentation makes use of parallels to highlight literary styles that are employed to make Daniel 11. It is worth noting however that Daniel 11 uses an interchange of 'pronoun antecedent' relationship frequently. Though this is somewhat tidious in English but it's not so in Hebrew literature...

*Role players.*

The King of the South is mentioned first. As a strong Kingdom, this power then is overpowered by the King of the North who therefore wins and controls the King of the South permanently.

This is excatly the potrayal seen in chapter 3. The king of the North Nebuchadnezzar having power over the Politicians(representation of King of the South). The King's Power is also exercised again in liason against God's people verse13. Which is parallelled with the last Verses of chapter 11 from 40 till the end. With the culmination that sees the King of the North trying to Subdue the Glorious Holy Mountain( Palestine) 11:45 .
So the key role players are King of the South (Secularism), King of the North(Religion) and God's People... In chapter three which is a literary parallel of Chapter 11 in miniture the same motif is displayed.

*Demise of the king of the North.*

The same way the king of the North in chapter 3 meet his demise that's exactly how the geo-political king of the North will meet his demise in chapter 11. Supernaturally, with God's people attaining victory over the image of the King of the North which in Hebrew happens to measure a volume of 60 by 6 by 6.
Dan 3:1 KJV Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits..

*The little Horn*

Daniel 8 is the parent text from which Daniel 11 is built. Chapter 9 and 10 are bridge _corpus libre_ that lead to Chapter 11. Two phrases stand out in ch9 & 10... understood by books...and he understood the thing respectively.

Dan 9:2 KJV In the first year of his reign I Daniel *understood by books* the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

Dan 10:1 KJV In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel... *and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.*

The little horn caused daniel to feel sick and hence fail to comprehend chpater7 and 8.
The problem was the little horn. In chapter 8 the little horn was explained of which Daniel failed to understand because of the mass inquisitions and crusades that the lil horn was carrying out against the saints. In 9 and 10 the issue is resolved and Chapter 11 comes to explain the little horn's activities from its rise and dimise. Yet the language employed is based on the Seleuseds and Ptolemic wars...

Schools of thought differ on who the little horn is. Yet the one that fits like one of Chubb's keys on one of Chubb's locks is the Roman Catholic Churchs clergy, commonly referred to as the Papacy. It is this organization that is referred to as the little horn of 7 and 8 and the King of the North in 11 and the last four verse of Chapter 11 chronicle the last final conflict between the saints and the Papacy and the destruction of the Papacy... The African component is an extensive study which has been covered in previous presentations (which is basically the militancy of the Africans against the Latinized Christianity in favor of a more Judiazed Christianity. Of which the Sabbath will be a point of conflict because it is an ancient African day of Rest and not Sunday, which is an infusion made by white coloniallists brand of Christianity .)

Dan 11:41-45 KJV 41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. 44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. 45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
